Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a well-established school in the UAE. The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring additional learning support, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential in an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech & Language needs)
Support the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
Assist students with academic, behavioural, social, and emotional development
Implement and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SEN staff
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing procedures are followed at all times
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, SEN, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience working as an LSA / SEN Teaching Assistant / Shadow Teacher
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Ability to work in a multicultural school environment
Applicants currently based in the UAE are preferred
